This time LEMICH CNC Technology set us an ambitious task, which was to robotize two FANUC ROBODRILL machines.
The algorithm created by our Application Engineers allows you to operate two machine tools at the same time. An additional task of the COBOX is to deposit the machined components to a specially prepared place for dimensional control. In this case, the collaborative robot puts down every 5 pieces, but this number can be freely modified depending on the adopted quality control plan.
Despite the limited space, we managed not only to handle two machine tools, but also to obtain nearly 10 hours of maintenance-free machine operation time - thanks to COBOX, a nest of two machines works even 24 hours a day!
A well-thought-out design and proprietary software give the customer a guarantee of independence in operating the robotic station.
